Ruth Adler has exhibited internationally since the 1980s. She has presented numerous solo exhibitions including, Jim Kemper Fine Art (New York), Lonsdale Gallery (Toronto) and Lorber Gallery (Tel Aviv). Ruth has received awards and grants for her work including a Bravo Fact award for her video work. She has also received commissions from the Iroquois Hotel (New York) and The Schneider Children's Medical Centre (Petach Tiqvah, Israel). 


Over the years Ruth has worked in many different media. She created a t-shirt label in the eighties called Lipti, began using a digital medium in the late 90s to make her digital circles and uses video to document how colour shapes her world. "I am drawn to colour wherever it is. Humans have a need to adorn themselves and their surroundings with colour much the same way that nature does. I wonder why this is. The affective nature of colour is the underlying theme of my life and my studio practice."
